African Alliance for Relief and Development was founded in 2016 by a group of passionate individuals dedicated to addressing the pressing challenges faced by communities in Somalia. Witnessing the adverse impacts of climate change, inadequate access to basic services and the need for sustainable development, the founders came together to establish an organization that could make a positive difference in the lives of Somali people. The organization emerged from a grassroots movement, driven by individuals who were deeply committed to making a positive impact in their communities. Since its inception, the African Alliance for Relief and Development has grown in size and influence, partnering with various stakeholders to address the complex issues faced by marginalized populations. Our organization’s headquarters are in Garowe, with field operation offices across the country and international offices in Kenya.
